"9-11 Ride"
The 2010 9/11 Memorial Ride was a success beyond even our greatest hopes. We had in excess of 3,800 riders and a tremendous outpouring of support from all of the communities involved. Both the 9/11 Memorial Coalition and CTVFC would to thank everyone who made the ride possible this year and all those who participated, either by riding or showing support along the way.
To quote Coalition President Baird, "We pushed past this being a motorcycle ride and made it a community event."
"As patriots, as concerned Americans, the observance of this day and the events that happened nine years ago are important. Not remembering this day is a disservice. It was a terrible day in American history and it ties into the theme that there still is a war on terror. It's not just for the past, it's also a show of support for what's going on right now."
