9/11 Memorial Motorcycle Ride
Plans are well underway for the 2011 9/11 Memorial Ride. This year is shaping up to be the largest memorial yet and there are many developments to pass along.
As you may have heard, we are commemorating those lost on that horrific day and those that protect our country a bit differently this year. With this year being the tenth anniversary of the attacks we have decided to make this a two day event.
On Saturday, the tenth of Sept, we will be staging at Frito-Lay on Reach Road in Williamsport at 10 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m. we will be riding to the Moving Vietnam Wall Memorial in Lock Haven.
On Sunday, the eleventh of Sept. we will once again have our beautiful memorial ride. Just as last year we will be starting at and returning to the Clinon Township Volunteer Fire Company. The schedule of events will be as follows:
8:00 A.M. Gates Open
8:00 A.M. -10:00 A.M. Breakfast
10:00 A.M. Vendors Open
10:30A.M - 11:00 A.M. Non-denominational Worship Service
3:00 P.M. -3:30 P.M. 9/11 Memorial Service
4:00 P.M. Ride Begins
6:00 P.M. Band and Fellowship
10:00 P.M. Gates Close
Please be aware that parking and riding order are on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to ride as a group, please arrive as a group. Once you are parked you may not be able to leave until the ride begins. To facilitate easier egress and parking we are asking that when you arrive for Sunday's ride you approach CTVFC from the East (the side towards route 405 and the borough of Montgomery).
